The Challenge: Build It Fast!
Neatness Counts offers an alternative to traditional interior decorators and personal organizers.A great marketing opportunity was about to present itself and Neatness Counts needed to make the best of that opportunity. However, there was only a week to prepare all the appropriate materials including designing and building a web site.
The Solution: A Template-Based Web Site
After the initial, somewhat time consuming work of creating the template, adding new content
to a template-based web site becomes a relatively easy task. Which is why this kind of
solution was ideal for the Neatness Counts web site.
The first few days of development were spent creating a template using a combination of ASP.NET and HTML. Together, these two technologies made it possible to create a template that could easily be modified to add a little variety in appearance from page to page while simultaneously ensuring a consistent look.
As a result of these efforts, Neatness Counts was able to:
- Direct potential clients to a web site containing a detailed explanation of the services offered.
- Project a more mature business because being "on the web" is expected.
- Showcase some of the work done for previous clients and provide testimonials of their satisfaction.
